Hinoki wood is a type of cedar wood that has natural antimicrobial properties, and is used traditionally in hot tubs as well as for cutting fish. The soft wood is very easy on your edges, and is our #1 recommended material for cutting board surfaces. These are not for heavy use (meat cleavers and aggressive bread knives)

Board measures 14" Long, 8" Wide and 5/8" Thick.

Lightly wet board before use to prevent strong food smells and colors from absorbing. Wash with cold, soapy water. Rotating integrated wood stand holds the board upright to dry and for easy storage when not in use.
